2006 AUSSIE TRIP

Back in July mum and i flew over to Australia (gold Coast) to meet dad who was over there for work. As this was my first plane ride i was very excited about the whole thing apart from having to get up real early in the morning to catch our plane(mum wasnt that happy either). When we got to the airport they told us that our plane was cancelled and we had to go to Auckland first then on to brisbane. We were meant to land there at 8.30am but because of the delay we didn't land till 11.30am. After finally getting there we went down to Surfers to meet dad(i couldnt wait). We finally got there about 4 hours late and i had the biggest smile on my face and dad and i had hugh cuddles.
We finally made our way to our motel where we just relaxed.The next day we meet dads friend who lent us his car for the week and we went out to sanctuary cove for lunch. Man it was hot out there but very nice (not that i knew what it looked like).The rest of the day mum and dad just looked around while i tried to sleep in between the heat waves( hot for me anyway).The next day we went up to Brisbane to meet my great grandad and great aunty chris who of course took an instant liking to me and after only a few minutes i had them eating out of the palm of my hands ( who wouldn't like me lol). We spent most of the day with them.
On our last day we went to a place called sea world where we saw heaps of dolphins etc ( mum absolutly loved this) and in between wee nana naps i had such a good time laughing at all the animals.
The next day we had to go back up to brisbane as we were going to go home.This day started out quite good but while taking car back to dads friend we had a wee car accidents. Don't worry i was fast asleep and not injured. Then we caught the train but because of people working on the tracks we had to get on and off a couple of times and finally caught a bus to airport.
We finally got back to NZ and man it was cold. Both mum,dad and myself all got colds.
